I draw the inspiration for our creations on the legacy of great researchers and explorers of the world's 18th century. They were the pioneers of a modern cartography with Captain James Cook as a main character, who enabled humanity a completely new view of the Earth.

Nestled in the heart of Ljubljana the capital of Slovenia (between Venice and Vienna), our workshop is a special place where we toil to bring the beauty of ancient map making into our modern digital age.
With a shared passion for travel, cartography and all things handmade my wife Mojca and I take great pleasure and pride in each map we create. With an eye on the future, we consistently gaze back in time to give our replicated art maps an original flavor, cooperating with national libraries and their rich archives.
When not hard at work in our workshop, I enjoy writing, fly-fishing and sailing. I once took a nearly month-long trip of a lifetime recreating the journey Christopher Columbus took 500 years ago when discovering The New World. You can see a bit of the harrowing journey across vast Atlantic ocean here in my youtube video CLICK
Most recently, our lives have gotten just a bit busier with the newest addition to our family, a beautiful little girl named Tara. Her name originates from the Latin word ‘Terra’ and is our personal tribute to Mother Earth as well as our belief that World should be one country, united without borders.
When Mojca and I aren’t filling our Etsy shop and online website with stunning map replicas, we take our precious Tara on great adventures to ancient castles and other locales in Europe. Yeah, our little princess has a crown and everything!
